The annual kick off picnic will be held Sunday, August 29, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Niles North High School in the stadium. Looking forward to seeing all Skomor families there.

Jamie Lyons will serve as the Director of Coaching and coach the U-12 Boys team. Originally from England , he has a B.A. in Sports Management from the University of Southampton , and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology. As a youth, he played for the Chelsea FC Academy for three years, Wycombe Wanderers FC Academy for 6 years, Slough Town FC for one year, and Chalfont St. Peter for 4 years. He was on the First Team of the University of Southampton for three years and played for Florida Tech University (NCAA D-II) for two years.
His coaching background is as impressive. He has coached as a Graduate Assistant at Florida Teach University , with Challenger Sports – Florida , Oak Park IL AYSO, and has worked for Chicago Fire Camps & Training while holding an FA Level Coaching Certificate.
Charles ‘Chuck’ Bransford will Coach the U-14 Girls Team. Chuck played at the nationally ranked Oakton Community College for two years, before moving on to Eastern Illinois University (NCAA D-I), while he grew up playing for the Chicago Sockers as a youth. He is the current Niles North H.S. Sophomore Boys Coach and Northwestern University Women’s Club Soccer Coach. He also holds USSF “D” License, and was the Head Coached for the elite level Naperville Soccer Association U-17 Girls team, while being the Assistant Trainer for the U-12, U-13, and U-18 girl’s teams. He also coached for the Pegasus Soccer Club U-12 and U-11 Girls teams for two years.
Jason Bohrer is currently attending the Northeastern Illinois University as a PE Major. He has played soccer at Deerfield H.S. and currently plays on several recreational teams. He is looking to gain coaching experience and will work under the DOC and with each team as needed.
